Gala Uses Gardens for Progressive Dinner

Theatreworks logoFor its annual benefit gala, Theatreworks in Colorado Springs, Colo., will stage a progressive dinner through three private gardens in the city's upscale Broadmoor Neighborhood, Saturday, July 13.

The event starts at 5 p.m. with appetizers at Tom and Patricia Radcliffe's garden, moves on to the main course at 6 p.m. hosted by Bill and Laura Nelson, and concludes with desserts in the garden of Robert and Sara Howsam.

"Come rub elbows with theatre lovers and enjoy a perfect Colorado night in our neighbors' backyards," a flier on the company's website says. The evening will also include visits from some of the characters on stage this season.

This fundraiser will support Theatreworks' upcoming programming while serving as a celebration of local theatre.

Tickets are $125, and RSVPs are due July 8. Space is limited, so make your reservations soon. For more information, www.theatreworkscs.org/taste-of-the-season.html. You may purchase tickets online at www.theatreworkscs.org/tickets.html.
